(Advanced Emergency Vehicle Operators course)


8 hour in-class and 8 hour behind the wheel

JUST DRIVER TRAINING’S specialized EVOC qualified instructors teach the 16 Hour National Standard Curriculum for Emergency Vehicle Operations suitable for fire, ambulance and similar public safety agencies. The course covers State and Federal laws, emergency vehicle driving and more.

The course prepares the driver in crash avoidance, close quarter vehicle control and safety procedures when on call to an emergency. Training includes traffic management with advanced vehicle control and awareness skills. The course is suitable for companies who are involved in security, military or public safety. Doctors and emergency personnel also benefit from taking the course. Training consists steering and braking techniques, advanced vehicle control, decision-based driving skills and space management in a moving environment. Drivers are required to attend training at least every three years and JUST DRIVER TRAINING provides the course to meet CEU’s.

Teen Driving – Skid Control and Recovery

Entry level courses are available for teens who have obtained their driver’s license and are anticipating joining the military, police, ambulance sector or firefighter training and would like training behind the wheel to control a vehicle in the event of an emergency situation on the road. Training takes place on the range with our specialized trainers. Our trainers provide instruction for teens who are also enrolled in R.O.T.C. and Explorers.
