JUST DRIVER TRAINING identified a need to provide additional training in the areas of collision avoidance, distracted driving and general driver awareness. The Crash Avoidance Course was introduced in an endeavor to save young lives, and provide Teens and young Adults with additional driving skills beyond the basic driving requirements of the state.  The program takes the Teen's driving ability to the next level, focuses on awareness, distracted driving and the steps of defensive driving. The course pre-sets the reaction of a driver in a time of emergency to avoid a collision and promote safety behind the wheel.

Drivers are trained in a course designed to enhance precision steering, emergency braking, vehicle control and collision avoidance techniques directly behind the wheel. These skills are practiced in a training area with additional driving in a real time environment. Training includes reactions and skills to manage driving in inclement weather conditions, blow-outs and speed control. 

Research and statistics have shown that more and more Teens are selecting the ONLINE course opposed to taking the course in a classroom setting, simply because this suits many busy schedules and time factors.

We recommend students attempt the online course first and if they are not comfortable in a self-study program, they may request a transfer to the physical classroom. Both courses are approved by the Department, and we cater to different learning styles.

You may complete the JUST DRIVER TRAINING ONLINE driving course in sections...at your own pace, on any computer, anywhere and anytime to suit your schedule with secure access using a student ID and password. We track your progress and offer assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You have 6 months to complete your course. A Certificate of Completion is issued on passing the final online test.

This course is suited to students who prefer an Instructor facilitated class. All training materials for this class are provided by JUST DRIVER TRAINING driving school, including snacks and refreshments. Students signed up for class must arrive on time and attend all lectures. We provide a Shuttle Service (on request) for students who experience transportation difficulties at an additional minimal fee.

Our state-of-the art student auditorium was designed for comfort and optimal learning. You will have an opportunity to interact in group workshops and participate in the course with a qualified Instructor while he takes you through the "Responsible Driving" curriculum.

The most important benefits of professional driver training are the skills that are taught to become a safe and more conscientious driver. Extensive research and experience in training and evaluating Teen Drivers resulted in the need to revise the current method of training. JUST DRIVER TRAINING developed a new, powerful, real-time Behind-The-Wheel curriculum based on the fundamentals of defensive driving skills. This curriculum was approved by the State of Georgia Department of Driver Services. (DDS).

We evaluate your driving, and take you to the next level through our driving program specially designed for Teen Drivers. You will learn the responsibilities that come with driving a vehicle, use international defensive driving techniques for safer driving, and learn integrated skills to handle different environments and situations you encounter on the roads.

INSURANCE DISCOUNTS AND TAX CREDIT

Students completing the 30/6 are eligible for a 10% or more reduction in insurance premiums depending on the insurance company. Parents are eligible for a $150 Georgia State Income Tax deduction - (section 48-7-29.5 if a dependent minor child of a Georgia taxpayer completes our driver education program, the taxpayer is entitled to a tax credit of $150). In some cases, insurance companies are applying discounts for both the Online and 6 hour Behind-the-Wheel, (contact your insurance agent for confirmation). JUST DRIVER TRAINING provides courses to satisfy all requirements, including defensive driving for first time offenses or minor infringements.
