TEEN DRIVERS At JUST DRIVER TRAINING teens are taught the new generation methodologies from the very first session, which is structured on Defensive Driving models. These models are internalized and become a “natural feel” in the driver’s skills. Awareness forms an integral part of every lesson and by training the Teen to predict the actions of other drivers, the correct course of action can be taken in a timely manner to avoid a potential collision. Space and distance training allows the brain to “think ahead” and promotes the correct reaction.

JUST DRIVER TRAINING offers an additional driving course for Teen/Adult drivers. The advanced 2 hour course provides additional driving skills for grid lock traffic, interstate driving, severe weather driving, lane changing on multiple lane highways, managing passengers, distractions, lane maneuvers on weaving lanes, speed control for on-ramps and off-ramps. Vehicle and preventative maintenance skills in addition to economic driving with gas saving techniques are covered in this course. |

DRIVING PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS Adult Driving is specially for ages 17 and over. JUST DRIVER TRAINING'S instructors are qualified to evaluate skills and customize the training. The number of lessons will depend on the driver's ability and confidence on the road. The driver training includes preparation for the driver's test exam as well as advanced defensive driving techniques for a safe driving experience. It is never to late to learn, and our patient instructors have experience teaching very nervous individuals. |

Our driving school provides a course for international driver’s converting their international licenses to a Georgia driver’s license. Drivers from countries using the Left side of the roadway are taken through a reversion course for Right hand roadway driving. Safety, awareness and special techniques are used to transform the existing style of driving to US standards. Training is conducted through interpretation services in several languages. |

4x4 TRAINING - Special Event! November 21 2009 ~ 9am to 4pm 4x4 off-road training includes specialized training in handling incline control, tilt factors, road surfaces and vehicle mechanics. Join Just Driver Training for a day of 4x4 fun and adventure! Bring your 4x4/4WD vehicle and friends for a day of skills training and off-roading in Dawsonville, GA! The event includes lunch, training by a Certified 4WD instructor, and the chance to test your new skills on an off-road course. All participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. Proceeds from the event benefit the Driver Education Foundation of America, to help disadvantaged students obtain driving education according to the requirements for Joshua's Law. STICK SHIFT TRAINING Our driving school offers a specialized training course for STICK SHIFT driving. Our Instructor’s are highly trained in teaching defensive driving techniques in our stick shift training vehicle. The course is a minimum of 2 hours with additional hours if necessary. This is an area of our expertise with more than 28 years of successful stick shift training. The course covers manual transmissions, clutch control, gas saving techniques, cornering, backing, parking, lane changing and much more. We are the only driving school in Atlanta to provide driving instruction on a manual transmission vehicle. We teach both learner driver’s as well as driver’s with a license. Our vehicle is fitted with a full set of dual controlled equipment to assist in the learning process.

We offer a real-time Behind-The-Wheel advanced defensive driving course for minor speeding and traffic offenses. The type of course will depend on the type and severity of the offence. An evaluation of driving skills will be made and followed with a real-time driving course concentrating on the required skills. |

SENIOR CITIZENS JUST DRIVER TRAINING provides an evaluation on driving skills and refresher courses for senior citizens who are required to renew their licenses. Seniors who are new to the area are provided with safe routes to drive to reach their nearest shopping centers, churches and clinics. |

SPECIAL NEEDS DRIVER TRAINING JUST DRIVER TRAINING provides specialized training for individuals with disabilities. An evaluation is made and a driving course is customized to best suit the individuals needs.
Vehicle modifications are discussed based on the individual’s disability. JUST DRIVER TRAINING will assist in contacting the necessary partners for vehicle modifications. Once modifications are completed on the individual’s private vehicle, driver training sessions will be scheduled. In some cases (see Tyler Kizer’s Story) a regular vehicle may be used, adapting the abilities of the individual to control a regular vehicle and obtain a regular driving permit. |
