As a Partner in Education, the driving school launched a special program for Middle and High School students in Cherokee County based on The Drive Program for Schools, TADRA (Teenage and Adult Driver Responsibility Act), and Joshua's Law. Melody Gullett fromJUST DRIVER TRAINING presented the program at Freedom Middle School, Creekland Middle School, Creekview High School, and Sequoyah High School, where over 2000 Cherokee county students learned about the laws in Georgia that affect Teen drivers and identified distracted driving from a new enhanced video featuring 100 special effects. Emphasis was placed on attendance, behavior and grades which play an important role in obtaining and retaining a learner's permit and driver's license. |
