JUST DRIVER TRAINING'S FOUNDER
Melody Gullett has followed in the footsteps of her father in continuing his teaching methodologies and his commitment to excellence behind the wheel. She has over 30 years experience in the driver training industry and is the Founder and President of the Driver Education Foundation of America, a national non-profit organization.
Melody writes and develops training courses and specializes in teaching children with disabilities, senior citizens and working with communities and schools in promoting safe driving. Melody teaches the TADRA program in schools and has developed the QTT (Quit Talking and Texting) Program for Teens, outlining the dangers of texting, emailing and talking on a cell phone while driving.
JUST DRIVER TRAINING'S CEO
Graham Gullett’s qualifications include Driver Education, Business Management and Public Relations. He served on the board of SAIDI and trained drivers in the Military for a number of years. Mr. Gullett was contracted by BMW as a Training Expert for their Train the Trainer program in Defensive Driving, Skid Control and Racing Programs.
Mr. Gullett developed and implemented an international defensive driving program for drivers of commercial vehicles. He has evaluated and retrained many corporate drivers both in the U.S. and abroad.
Mr. Gullett holds a Class A Commercial Driver's license with full endorsements and worked with two of America's largest commercial trucking companies, in the South East and Northern regions. He is an expert in backing and maneuvering tractor trailers using his international knowledge in this field. He has trained and mentored drivers, focusing on safety behind the wheel. Mr. Gullet has implement the JDT Fleet Management System for both small and medium size businesses.
He traveled abroad and researched driver behavior and various driver training programs offered in different countries. He was responsible for the defensive driver training for security details for foreign dignitaries. He personally trains all instructors at his driving school.
JUST DRIVER TRAINING INSTRUCTORS
Our driving schools' instructors complete an extensive pre-employment interview prior to being accepted into our training program. We strive to employ individuals of good character, sound judgment, direction of purpose with the ability to impart knowledge, understand the driver’s ability to internalize the information and work well within the training standards of our school. JUST DRIVER TRAINING is an insured and bonded Georgia driving school.
The training program for instructors consists of intensive field training ensuring they are well-versed and knowledgeable about teaching methods, traffic laws, rules and regulations, in addition to defensive driving techniques.
Each instructor must pass an examination administered by the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS).
The DDS also completes a thorough background check, which includes submission of fingerprints and photos to the G.B.I. and F.B.I. All instructors must have and maintain a clean driving record and have experience dealing in a teaching environment.
